Please join Fort Cobb-Broxton School in welcoming our new Agriculture Education Teacher Chelsea Jones and our new 2nd Grade teacher Alysha Ham, we are also thrilled to have Blake Clift as our new upper level elementary math teacher. We are excited to have them and looking forward to a GREAT YEAR! If you see them around be sure to make them feel welcome in our wonderful community.
My name is Blake Clift. I am 24 years old and I was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma. As most of you know I was born and raised in Fort Cobb. After high school I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Health and Physical Education. Hydro-Eakly public schools allowed me to do my student teaching there in the fall of 2014. After graduating in December, Mountain View-Gotebo offered me a math teaching position that I accepted. I worked there for the remainder of the 2014/2015 school year. I am very excited to be able to work in my hometown. I can't wait to the school year started and be a part of the Fort Cobb school family.
My name is Alysha Ham. I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I grew up in the small town of Arnett, OK with my parents Dale and Carolyn. I was very active in sports, FFA, our family farm, and my church youth group. After high school, I pursued my dream of playing college softball while earning my Early Childhood degree at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Shattuck Elementary welcomed me as I did my student teaching in the fall of 2014. After graduating in December, I took a 1st grade position at Shattuck for the last semester of the '14-'15 school year. After my husband, Kurt finished his last tour with the Marines, we moved to this beautiful new place! We are very excited to be a part of this great community! I am so excited to become part of this school family and meet all of you and my new students!
My name is Chelsea Jones. I was born in Lancaster, California, but I have lived all over the United States and in Germany as my dad was in the U.S. Air Force. I attended Yukon High School, and graduated in 2010. While attending high school I was very active in FFA, showed livestock, and participated in numerous leadership activities. After high school, I attended Oklahoma State University. While there, I majored in Animal Science and Agricultural Education. During my time at Oklahoma State University, I did my student teaching at Tishomingo High School. I received my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources in Animal Science and Agricultural Education from OSU in 2014. After graduation, I worked in Payne County as the 4-H Extension Educator. I am married to Joshua Jones. We are very excited to be in Fort-Cobb!
I am looking forward to a great school year, and I am excited to be a part of the FCB team!
