CLEP Testing

College-Level Examination Program

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP Testing) enables students to earn college credit for what

they already know, whether it was learned in school, through independent study or other experiences

outside of the classroom.  This allows students to save time and money.  Most college/universities now

award credit for qualifying scores.  The exams, 90 minutes in length and primarily multiple-choice, are

administered at participating college/universities.   It is important that you contact the university that you

will be attending to obtain a listing of CLEP Tests accepted at that university.  The information will be

available on the university web site.   For more information concerning CLEP Testing go to

www.collegeboard.org, or contact the university that you will be attending.
