Welcome to Fort Cobb-Broxton's A-3 (Accelerated Academic Achievement) Before and After School Program Webpage!

 

 

This year was the last year of our current 5 year after school grant. We are reapplying for funding for the after school program this summer. Please complete the following survey. We want our after school program to be the best fit for our community. We appreciate your input. Please click on this Survey Link.

 

Remediation and Summer Camps

A3 will be offering remediation and summer camps Monday thru Friday, May 21st-June 15th with the exception of Memorial Day on May 28th. The morning reading/math remediation is open to FCB students completing 1st thru 6th grade. Participants are welcome to have breakfast and lunch at our free summer meal program. Breakfast is served from 8:00-8:30 am and lunch will be served 11:30-12:00, both are open to all children birth-18 years old. The summer school/ summer camp bus route will pick bus riders up in the morning and we will run a bus route home at 3:00 pm. Bus routes will continue to be drop off and pick up locations similar to the regular school year. Student not attending afternoon camp will need to be picked up by 12:00, there will be no noon bus route. You can return your enrollment in the elementary office, high school office or to Mrs. Lierle or Mrs. Robin. Summer School Remediation

Summer school math/reading improvement will run from 8:30 am – 11:30 am Monday thru Friday, May 21st-June 15th. Summer school math/reading improvement will be open to FCB students completing 1st thru 6th grade.The summer school/ summer camp bus route will pick bus riders up in the morning. There will be no noon bus route. Parents may pick students not attending afternoon camp up outside of the cafeteria.

Afternoon Summer Camps

A-3 Afterschool summer camps will run from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday, May 21st-June 15th. Summer Camps are open to FCB students completing 1st thru 6th grade. Your child may attend summer camp only and does not have to attend morning remediation. They will need to be at the cafeteria by noon each day. There will be no noon bus route.

If there is a change of transportation plans for the day please send a note with your child or text, if we do not receive a note or phone call we will assume your child is going home according to the usual plan.

We will not have morning or afternoon sessions on Memorial Day, May 28th.

 

Before and After School Days are regular school days Monday-Thursday.

After school hours run from 3:00 - 5:30pm.

There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION for students who live in town. All children will be picked up on the East side of the elementary by 5:30 pm. Please be prompt, we start releasing the students around 5:25. Parents must be on time to pick up their child (ren) from after school promptly by 5:30 pm.

 

Also remember, there will be no early pick-ups between 5:00 and 5:25 pm. Early pick-ups should enter the south high school entrance and turn left into the office. If you are picking your child up early we will not gather them until you are in the office to sign them out. Please allow time for them to get to the office when you check them out early.

** If your child won’t be attending A-3 on a particular day(s) or there is a change of transportation plans for the day please send a note with your child in the morning. If we do not receive a note or phone call we will assume your child is attending on the days they are signed up.**

If regular school is canceled for any circumstance, A-3 After School will be canceled also.

All visitors to the A-3 Office including parents/guardians, need to enter through the south doors of the high school. You must check your child out in the office.
